I made this apron myself as an upcycle of a vintage dishtowel. It's made from a vintage cotton feedsack that was upcycled long ago into a kitchen towel. Someone embroidered cute kittens onto the towel using one of the many days-of-the-week-chores iron-on transfer patterns that were popular in the 50s. (I collect them).

When I found the towel it was damaged on one side with a stain and holes. So using a pattern I found in a 50s booklet and some careful cutting I was able to give this bit of cotton it's THIRD life as a sexy little half apron, lol.

It's a simple rounded flat waist apron with pocket, trimmed with a gathered ruffle around the hem. The 2" waistband has long ties to make it fit most waists.

Shown on my vintage dressform that fits modern M/L sizes.

New, handmade apron using vintage materials, this is ready to wear, display or to gift anyone that likes retro kawaii kitty images!
