Here's lot of mostly vintage embroidery thread and hoop stored in a Christmas cookie tin. The tin has holly and ornaments and features scenes from a Western movie or tv show. As found (except for removing pins & needles), I left the original wooden embroidery hoop as well as a piece of ephemera- a pair of tv or radio repair receipts dated 1957... I LOVE finding surprises like that in unexpected places!
 
The embroidery floss included is mostly vintage but some is newer. Some of the skeins are like new and home have had some thread removed.
 
The tin measures 7 1/4" diameter and is 2 1/2" tall.
