This is a very cool vintage cravat from the 1940s (I think) but possibly earlier. Simply labeled ‘Budd, New York’, it’s a black silk brocade with compass-like silver motifs allover. Each end is open, showing the striped backside of the fabric. It’s finished with a narrow machine sewn hem at both off-center pointed ends. Very narrow at the neck area, it isn't pleated.
 
Pre-owned, used; in good condition with no noted flaws.
