This is a vintage hand knit cardigan sweater from the 1970s, probably knit from a Mary Maxim pattern but in the style of a classic Cowichan sweater with the heavy duty metal zipper closure up the front and the patch pockets.
 
Made from heavyweight tan (or camel) & dark brown wool with yellow and orange accents in the bold geometric patterning- rather a traditional tribal geometric style. Unlined, it has a shawl collar & long sleeves.
 
A vintage handmade sweater, there's no size on the garment. Fits me like a men's L or large size but is fitted thru the hips. Please read the actual garment measurements given next--
Chest- measured straight across between the underarm seams (pit to pit) 21"
Ribbed hem, measured around the sweater- 39" with hem not stretched or up to 42" when gently stretched
Center front length- 25" measured along the zipper
Raglan sleeve length- 28 1/2" from base of collar to wrist
