This is a antique large bandana or head scarf from the early part of the 20th century. Made of turkey red cotton, it's print with a green and beige border. Two edges are finished with machine turned hems, the other 2 edges are the selvedges. 
 
Pre-owned, used; in good condition with a couple of smudges in the light areas and one corner has a slight stain. I didn't wash this bandana- having finally learned my hard lessons about washing turkey red dyed fabric.
