This is an awesome 50s red Tiger brand bandana with a black & white Celtic-inspired twisted border. Marked as "wash fast color with a tiger head" in the lower right corner, the edges are stitched in white thread.
In very good condition, the bandana doesn't seem to have been washed more than once or twice.
